To begin, you likely received an email similar to the example below, which gives you lots of preview information and a link to start the interview:
The first thing that you need to do is install the Filtered browser extension. The extension aids with the interview process by adding functionality to the code editor, as well as enabling certain security features. You can safely uninstall the extension after the interview ends.
Once the browser extension has been installed, you can begin your interview and follow the prompts on the screen.
The in-browser IDE can be resized to let the you maximize your screen real estate for reading the question prompt or doing the programming work.
You may be asked to explain your coding solution after finishing a challenge. This may be on video or with a text box, depending on the interview.
You may be given an opportunity to provide their availability to help with scheduling a next round interview (at this point, you have not been shortlisted by the recruiter):
At the end, you must connect with a social media account to verify your identity and pass along some personal information to the recruiter. This will not share anything to your social media account.
When the interview is complete, you will be given a congratulations page and have the opportunity to give the Filtered team feedback about the experience to help improve it for future candidates.
That's it! Most interviews take less than an hour to complete.
